This month marks a division in the year. With Jupiter’s entrance in Gemini, we are encouraged to foster the joy and pleasure and belief in repartee and banter, the trading of information, and self-expression through communication.
With Jupiter’s trine to Pluto on the 3rd, we may be drawn to the overthrowing of stale beliefs, intense research, and the sharing of secrets and building of new alliances.
The month itself doesn’t have too much harsh energy, except for a period around June 8 - 12, when the Sun/Mercury/Venus square Saturn and Mars squares Pluto. The Gemini Full Moon on June 6th may bring the energy in earlier. During this time, you may feel a very strong limitation against an aesthetic or relational ideal as well as a power struggle or an exposure to a kind of large magnitude of aggression and force (within you or in the outside world). There is a risk of digging in your heels and refusing to compromise, which then creates a headfirst collision. Balance is the key.
On the 17th, Venus and Mercury move onto Cancer, and the energy shifts away from the frenzy and buzzing of Gemini into the cold and sharp edges of water.
The Full Moon in Capricorn occurs right after the Summer Solstice on the 21/22 of June. The Moon is square Neptune out-of-sign, which means that there may be a feeling of disjointedness and inconclusion to a project. You may be considering long-term growth or the material things you can do to better your relationships, but the path is not clear. You are both in the new and the old.
In terms of nice days, the beginning of the month is full of light connection and new ideas, and after the gridlock of mid-month, things can be dreamy and mostly undisturbed in the larger landscape.
Have a wonderful June. Horoscopes below~
I’m turning 30 in June. I feel excited, in a way, that maybe with the blessing of my Saturn Return, I’m entering into a club of wiser, stronger, and more self-directed people. I’m taking some time off for myself the next month to reflect, and I’ll be back for readings in July.
So much love <3, until July
“Reflection on the Sublime” is still on view at Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art until June 9, 2024.
